The Naked Baker - Home of Orgazmik Coffee

Darren Carlow and Andrew Snee, Managing Directors of The Naked Baker Bakehouse Café/Roastery, started their own brand (Orgazmik Coffee) of freshly roasted coffee in 2005.

Darren Carlow, a baker by trade for the last 15 years, started up a small bakery in North Beach, Christchurch in 2002. Within a year, business grew and matured so fast that Andrew came on board as a business partner to help and keep up with the demand and pressures of a successful business.

In 2003 business was booming, the size of the business doubled by expanding into the empty premises next door. Keeping up with trends, by offering seating and supplying espresso along with a range of pastry and yeast products to the locals was obviously the right market to channel. The once small bakery was now The Naked Baker Bakehouse Café.

In 2005, Orgazmik Coffee was then arisen! Darren and Andrews’ passion and obsession of espresso and the café industry grew.

A 5kg coffee roaster was imported, which is situated in the café as a showpiece, for customers to query and look at.

After sourcing beans from many different origins and selecting them solely based on their characteristics, not price, our brand ‘Orgazmik Coffee, Your Daily Oral Addiction’ reputation has grown far beyond our expectations.
